Alejandro Sanchez ESP-666

About Alejandro

I was introduced to diving and race sailing in Alicante (Spain), during my military staff officer time at the Spanish Special Forces Headquarter located in such place. After get my PhD I moved to US with a NATO scientific grant. In US I was appointed postdoctoral fellow at MIT, where I become a member of its windsurf sailing team. After serving two seasons in such team and diving frequently in the Cape Cod area I returned to Spain, where I continued my professional career in the field of science while also continuing diving and sailing. Concretely, I started sailing in Formula Winsurfing and more recently in Slalom. Currently I am the only Spanish windsurfer competing in both the windsurfing Federative circuit (IFCA, International Funboard Class Association) and the Professional one (PWA, Professional Windsurfing Association). Thus, in the 2016 masters European Championships I ranked 18 and in 2017 I ranked 5, being the 1st overall among the Spanish Slalom sailors in the 2017 IFCA International slalom ranking. When I began to race I really realized how performant is the LoftSails equipment!

Why ride Loftsails gear?

So far I've been unable to find a more performant equipment and, at the same time, so durable, easy-to-use and versatile. I am really impresed about that!
