Purelip
Pure wave performance. 20 years in the making.
There's a reason the best wave sailors keep coming back to the same sail, year after year. It's not loyalty. It's trust.
When you're dropping into a critical section, the last thing you want is to think about your equipment. You need a sail that responds instantly, releases cleanly, and stays stable when the wind decides to do something unexpected.
That's what the Purelip does. And it's been doing it for over two decades.
Stability You Can Feel
Wave conditions are chaotic. One moment you're powered up, the next you're in a lull mid-bottom-turn. The power shifts can be enormous — and most sails can't handle them gracefully.
The Purelip can.
Dual radials trace from the clew into the sail body, stabilizing the profile and extending the usable wind range. You stay powered through the lulls. You stay in control through the gusts. The sail adapts so you can focus on the wave, not on managing your rig.
Faster. More Compact.
The Purelip feels different the moment you sheet in. A higher aspect ratio delivers more speed with less effort — the sail drives forward instead of pulling you sideways.
The increase in mast length is compensated by a new closed sleeve head, replacing the old mast top plug. The result is a cleaner, more integrated design that rotates smoothly and reduces weight where it matters most: at the top.
For riders who push hard in marginal conditions, this matters. You get earlier planing, better upwind angles, and more confidence when the wind drops.
Refined Release
Wave riding is about timing. And timing depends on how your sail releases power during transitions.
The Purelip features a revised leech outline, extended at the third batten. This creates smoother, more reactive power release — exactly when you need to dump power and redirect into the next section.
It's a subtle change. But on the wave, subtle changes make the difference between a completed move and a wipeout.
Built to Survive
Wave sails take punishment. Crashes, shore breaks, rocks, UV exposure — it's not a question of if, but when.
The Purelip is constructed to handle it. Full X-Ply layout throughout. Double Dacron head panels. Triple reinforced foot and leech edges. This isn't a sail that falls apart after one season. It's built to last.
Construction Highlights

20 Years of Refinement
The Purelip isn't a new design chasing trends. It's two decades of continuous improvement — each generation building on what worked, refining what didn't.
Balance. Stability. Ease of use. These aren't marketing words. They're the result of thousands of sessions, in every condition, by riders who demand the best from their equipment.
For wave riding. For high-wind bump and jump. For top-end performance when conditions get demanding. The Purelip delivers.
It always has.
