Purelip 3.3 HD Blue 2026
Description
The Ultimate Wave & Bump-and-Jump Machine
With over 20 years of continuous evolution, the Purelip has become the benchmark for uncompromising wave performance. Built to thrive in the most demanding conditions, it excels in waves, bump blasting, and big days.
The 2026 Purelip brings fresh refinements to this proven formula. Higher aspect ratios result in shorter booms and improve handling and reactivity, while re-scheduled luff curves enhance control across a wider wind range. Batten angle re-orientation shifts power and weight distribution lower, delivering a lighter, more balanced feel in the hands.
Stability and ease of use remain defining hallmarks. Sizes above 3.7 feature a 5-batten layout for outstanding upper-end stability. New dual Kevlar clew radials maintain profile integrity and forward drive even under heavy gusts, while distributing loads more efficiently for lasting performance.
Durability - From the abrasion-resistant mast pad to strategically placed PVC protectors, every detail of the Purelip is built to withstand season after season of hardcore use. The new 5mil foot panels and a robust 30mm wide mast panel seam deliver exceptional resistance to wear and tear in relentless surf. The full X-Ply construction continues, along with Loftsails’ exclusive Integrated Panel Concept (IPC) overlaps at the head, tack, and clew for unmatched strength. The Purelip’s head panels use dual-layer Dacron to improve roll-up ease and enhance long-term durability.
The 2026 graphic embodies functional minimalism. By removing excess marker cloth and scrim, the sail's weight center is lowered and long-term durability improved.
Like all Loftsails designs, the Purelip offers a broad tuning range and exceptional trim reactivity. Two clew eyelets and three micro battens across all sizes let you fine-tune leech tension and maintain leech silence, even when sailing with firm upper-end trim.
Standing battens - While tube battens offer excellent stiffness, helping to extend the upper wind range and stabilize the sail profile, they’re also prone to snapping under heavy wave impact. The Purelip addresses this with Standing Battens — a solution unique to Loftsails. Designed to mimic the performance benefits of tubes, Standing Battens deliver offer far greater resilience in demanding wave conditions
Finished with the clean, minimalistic graphic, the new 2026 Purelip stands as Loftsails’ dedication to top-end stability, reliability, and pure wave-bred performance.

Frequently asked questions
Use the FAQ section to answer your customers' most frequent questions.
The Purelip is a hardcore wave sail engineered for radical riding in powerful surf and high-wind situations, performing well in both sideshore and onshore setups. Its primary design focus is stability and durability, specifically built to handle brutal poundings in breaking surf and demanding conditions. It is categorized as a wave/bump & jump sail.
The Purelip design features recalibrated luff curves and batten angle re-orientation to enhance control, stability, and responsiveness. The general philosophy across the 2026 line involves "dropping of the batten angles," making the sail feel lighter in the hands
The aesthetic for 2026 across the Loftsails range is called "functional minimalism," involving minimal applications of graphics to reduce waste, lighten the sail, and enhance long-term durability
The Purelip is built for high-wind, hardcore wave conditions think powerful surf, sideshore setups, and bump blasting where stability and durability are non-negotiable.
The Wavescape focuses on down-the-line wave riding with an emphasis on lightness, maneuverability, and pure wave expression. If you're charging through breaking waves in nuking conditions, the Purelip is your sail.
If you're carving down clean wave faces and prioritizing flow and precision, the Wavescape is calling your name.
We recommended the Team Edition 340, alternatively you can also use the Vision III C75 RDM 340.
The Purelip's wide tuning range and versatile design make it compatible with wave boards, freeride boards, and bump & jump boards
It features a broad tuning range and delivers unbelievable performance in the upper end when trimmed correctly. Conversely, if you trim it soft, you gain 4x4 power for light wind.
