Loftsails Warranty Policy

Loftsails warrants to the original purchaser that Loftsails products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Loftsails will repair or replace any product deemed by Loftsails to be defective, provided the original purchaser makes a claim within one year* of the date of purchase from Loftsails or an authorized Loftsails dealer. This warranty is solely for the benefit of the original retail purchaser and may not be assigned.
This warranty does not cover natural wear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, scratches or paint chipping, damage caused when transporting or storing the product, use in schools/rentals and/or or damage arising from alterations.
This warranty does not cover accidental damage from exposure to shore-break, reef wave, or any irresponsible use.
Claims for incidental damage or consequential loss are specifically excluded from this warranty.
The foregoing warranty policy is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties of quality and performance, whether written, oral or implied and all other warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. In no event shall Loftsails be liable for special, indirect, incidental, consequential, statutory or exemplary damages, whether in contract, tort, civil responsibility, negligence, strict liability or otherwise including, without limitation, loss to property other than this product, loss of use of said product, or other property or other economic losses. Loftsails shall not be liable for contribution or indemnification, whatever the cause.
For retail customer warranty claims, proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required. If the date of purchase cannot be established, Loftsails will make a determination based upon on the last production year of the particular model, or on the condition of the equipment claimed. This warranty does not effect the statutory rights of the consumer, Loftsails will determine if a product is covered under this warranty policy. If covered, Loftsails will, at Loftsails’s sole option, repair or replace the product in question. This warranty cover the component only.

Written description of the defect with digital photographs to support the claim.

Do not return the product unless you are instructed by Loft Sails to do so; freight charges will not be accepted regarding returned items without prior arrangement
