The Loft Blade mast pocket construction is different from all other full-on competition sails.
Blades are built with the mast panel AND the mast pocket sides (3 elements) included under the webbing straps that mount the stainless tack roller. This simple, unique construction equalizes tension between the three elements.
The result is pure function:
-Firm, clean leading edge for superior aerodynamics.
-Unmatched stability especially in the upper end.
-Complete, soft rotation that makes “the corners” easy.
-Longevity. The Blade mast pocket build technology eliminates fragility characteristic of other mast pocket constructions.
Blades also include Kevlar strips around the mast pocket at each cam. This Blade feature maintains the original pocket shape over time as the cams are mounted- keeping the pocket firm and clean race after race.
