Many tip designs were introduced to the market and then discarded for various practical reasons... molded parts and specific hardware being added complication, weight and expense. Although these designs have come and gone, the need to optimize tip aerodynamics remains.

The Sensitip is activated with downhaul tension, flexing the Sensitip rod as downhaul tension is applied.
