Q- When did you begin competing in windsurfing? Which is your sweetest result?
A- I began in 1991 in Tarifa, PWA slalom and I won the event. The sweetest? 3 times world speed champion, 8 times French speed champion overall. My best speed 39.02 knots over 500 meters in Fuerteventura.
Q- You have been windsurfing a long time! What keeps you motivated?
A- My motivation is my desire to take the world speed record. I decided to return to competitions when recently speed events started again because I like to ride fast! My new objective is to ride fast with my new sail sponsor The Loft.
Q- Where is your home? How often do you windsurf?
A- My home os on the south of France, Six Fours. I live close to the beach and I am training whenever the wind is in.
Q- Have you raced with Spindler designs before? What was the result?
A- I raced many years with ART sails, which gave me my first good results and first place in many events.
Q- What is your competition schedule this year?
A- Long distance events in France (speed crossings), the Defi Wind, and the PWA slalom events in Alicati and Fuerteventura and the Masters of Speed at the ditch in Ste Marie de la Mer.
Q- What do you look for in competition rigs?
A- I look for good power and good control with a sweet feeling… Loftsails I find perfect for me!
Q- Which competitors are your big rivals?
A- My first rival is Karen Jaggi, my goal is to be in front of her this year!
