The SensiTip is sensitivity, durability and easy rigging. Buried in the head patch is a fiber rod kept in a special curved pocket. The SensiTip is activated with downhaul tension, flexing the SensiTip rod as downhaul tension is applied. The result is an extension of your feel up and out at the rig tip, just as birds extend their tip feathers in flight.

The SensiTip meets the requirements for ultra-lightness and durability, and goes one step farther as it effectively mimics the dynamics of natural wings.

Aerodynamic tests and texts indicate that rounded or parabolic tips are of lower drag coefficients than square tips. SensiTip application allows the tip to be rounded; natural in twist character as well as outline.

The SensiTip is the totally functional, light, durable, no-hassle approach to modern tip design. The SensiTip rods are placed in the sails at the factory; no need to give any attention to the SensiTip when rigging or packing your Loftsail.
