Monty Spindler and the Loft team windsurf... time on the water produces visions of what can be. New designs are prototyped at the Tarifa -Spain [Loftsails R&D location] and go into Loft team/pairs tests with variables minimized. Only on-the-water testing can reveal design quality. Proven designs go to The Loft production facility. Loftsails are trim reactive. Soft trim (reduced from the printed mast&boom lengths) will directly power-up the sail for light wind conditions with sail shape that powers from head to foot. Hard trim (setting the sail at the printed mast&boom lengths) will set the sail effectively for the mid-to-upper wind range with a slim body and easy handling... the sail shape is flat, free, and easy.
