The Loft Sails 2004...
 Competitive Formula racing requires specialized designs; maximum performance upwind and power downwind with deep-angle planning ability.
The O2+ is specialized for Formula racing. Four cams, long boom length relative to size and a flat entry which together produce acute upwind angles and foot-to-head power for light winds and downwind speed.
The O2+ body is designed with precise shaping that becomes powerfully full with released outhaul (downwind) and efficiently (upwind) flat with tensioned outhaul.
Trim directly transforms the O2+ and gives the racer a truly large range of power and handling configurations.
The O2+ sail shape is full & powerful low with a progressive transition through the body to the head.
The O2+ tip includes the Sensitip head batten system making the tip responsive; twisting to de-power when needed yet taut enough to keep the rig driving upwind with a tight angle of attack.

Construction Features:
- 8 battens, 7 carbon tubed battens.
- 4 roller-cams.
- Sensitip: simple, light, durable, unique; tip efficiency.
- Integrated panel layout: panel overlap to form durable radial two and three-plys at sail corners.
- New spectra-loop batten tensioners, 5mm hex-key driver mounted inside mast pocket protector.
- Massive board/mast protector with oversized velcro access and Velcro/mesh rope pouch.
- Fully padded tack eyelet protector with oversized Velcro access.
- Protected stitching at tack patch seams.
- Tack handle inside mast pocket protector.
- Extra glued scrim Dacron reinforcements applications at critical points.
- New metric print at boomhole.
- New rubber logo on mast pocket keeps boomhole open for easy rigging.
- Xply intensive; three grid laminate types built in.
