The Loft 2003
The Loft R&D 2004 has produced designs with yet greater wind range!...
Increased power to get on a plane, improved performance when passing through lulls in the wind and better upwind performance.
The performance improvement is a result of new curve schedules applied to the mast curve and the horizontal curves (under the battens).
The new curve improvements are subtle.
The 2004 designs are based firmly on our successful 2003 designs

Windsurfing sail constructions and details are in evolution. For 2004 The Loft constructs all our sails with new items which make windsurfing easier with greater longevity.

Some firms apply graphics with no regard for function, some firms miss construction basics as they design for function.
The Loft designs with functional x-grid exteriors that include integrated extensions into the body from the corners; functional graphics. Design quality needs construction and detail quality.

At The Loft we apply only first quality sail making materials... from specialized mast pocket materials, batten sections with specific precision ground tapers, scrim adhesive reinforcements, four qualities of laminates to special new foot edge extrusions. Sails from The Loft are built using cutting-edge components. Loftsails are constructed with care so you keep riding!
