The Lip and O2 2005 sail lines have been finalized. Many new items have been applied to our successful designs. Reduction in sail weight has been a top priority for 2005, and the results are stunning. An average of ½ kilo of weight has been taken from all 2005 sails; The Loft sails 2005 are among the very lightest sails available.
In September 2004 The Loft was asked to work to develop a windsurfing rig model for testing in the new wind tunnel facility... The opening of the wind tunnel was highlighted by the arrival of the King and Queen of Spain. That windsurfing was presented certainly helps to promote our sport.

I was originally asked to judge the event but minutes before we started, the thought of missing out on the windiest Gorge Games to date was unbearable and I had to entertain my competitive spirit... The finals in the Masters was perfect with 20+ mph winds and my 4.3 Loft tuned and on fire...
Setting ALL windsurfing rigs with the correct downhaul and outhaul tensions is critical to get the best performance from the rig. Many, many windsurfers undertrim, even experienced windsurfers often trim too soft after time away from the water.
