RESULTS
The Formula
circuit in Spain grows each year, this year there are an average of 60
competitors in each event.
The third event in Santander early July
2002 had 65 Formula racers from Spain, Portugal and France compete in 4
races.
Fernando took the win with 1-4-2-1 finishes, all with the
O2+ 10.6.
After the Santander
event Fernando was second in the Spanish year
rankngs.

 Fernando took the lead in the year
rankings after the Caceres event near Madrid in July 2002.
Competing on a lake, only one race was completed because of lack of
wind.
Combined with the races from
earlier in the season, these events place Fernando 1st on the
Spanish ranking list, 7pts ahead of Victor Diaz winner of the Spanish
and German Formula circuits 2001.
