on the way sails look...
All sails have a “look”, limited only by the designer’s fantasy.

Many sail brands leave it to their riders to develop their own vision of what might make the sail look interesting.

The risk in this approach is that as their vision is applied the sail becomes heavier (and more expensive), weight that will always be carried by the windsurfer!

Integrity may also at risk with "applied graphics" designs, as arguably unnecessary seams and stitching are added.

I see fashion in function... I appreciate minimized style graphics in favour of a functional application of appropriate materials.

It is this approach that creates the look of sails from The Loft...

Kevlar and Xply laminate exteriors, integrated panel overlap at sail corners, monofilm interiors... functional asthetics .
