In September 2002 The Loft sponsored a raid on Montecristo, Corse, and Sardegna from Porto Santo Stefano near Orbetello, Italy.

Alain Gabet and Bruno Lefebvre windsurfed across 250Km of open seas using a Loftsails quiver as follows: 

"The success of this raid is due to Loft sails which provide high perfomance over a wide range of use."
