The Loft | Masts & Booms

Our 2008 Loftboom line is expanded with the addition of the Loftboom Pro line. Reduced diameters in the “grip zone” make our 08 Proline booms easy and efficient. The diameters are 29mm outside the grip zone, 26mm inside the grip zone.

The Loft Carbon booms The Loft carbon booms are produced with premium-quality pre-preg cabon. Pre-preg carbon head, tail and boom arms are essential for the stiffest possible boom. There is no better power transfer from your sail to you… direct response translates rig power to board speed and superior handling. Loft Carbon booms 08 include new EVA graphics, a new EVA step at the boom rear and EVA dots (no prints!) for the harness line markers.

The Loft Alu booms Produced with first-quality T-8 aluminum, The Loft Alu booms are optimized performance/price. Loft Alu booms 08 include new EVA graphics, a new EVA step at the boom rear and EVA dots (no prints!) for the harness line markers.

• Neutral head; articulating to accept any boom height/clew position without loading the sail. Pre- loading is eliminated.
• Loft boomhead is compatible with both normal diameter masts and reduced diameter masts- no adapter needed.
• Large closure lever; easy to operate for firm boom placement.
• Double-door head system for easy & positive mounting.
• Single-piece tail (including vario-arms); elegant stiffness.
• Positive-pin vario locking system, single for Alu, double for Carbon.
