Birth of The Loft Sails
The Loft began with series of designs in 2000. The American Windsurfer 2000 sail tests on Maui were the first magazine evaluations of sails from The Loft. The O2 and Lip designs 2000 were ranked #1 & #2 in the 2000 AW tests!

The Loft is a windsurfers company. The Loft is dedicated to the development of original windsurfing sail designs with top quality - both in performance and manufacture.
The Loft's philosophy is to maximize wind range while minimizing the number of sail lines presented to the market.
The Loft supported Valerie Ghibaudo for her remarkable 2009 season. Valerie dominated the PWA slalom events, never taking a loss. Valerie also dominated the ISA becoming the Windsurfing Speed World Cup Champion for the second year running. The Loft also supported Ludo Jossin who is the French AFF 2009 Overall Champion, 2009/2010Overall Spanish tour Champion.
In 2010 Valerie won the PWA Almanarre and Alacati events earning her place on the podium while Ludo Jossin won the Spanish slalom tour and Antoine Questel finished 2nd in the French AFF Slalom Championships.
2011 saw Ben Van Der Steen take multiple podiums over the year, finishing 3rd for the PWA 2011 Slalom Tour and placing The Loft 3rd in the PWA constructors ranking 2011.
